Atomisti on lumoava fuusio 80-luvun estetiikkaa ja modernia pop-soundia. Atomistin takana on Tomi Kankainen, kokenut multi-instrumentalisti ja lauluntekijä, joka aloitti musiikin tekemisen 80-luvun lopulla. Metallin eri alagenreistä monien muiden musiikkityylien kautta nykyiseen progebändi Confusion Fieldiin, Atomisti on luontevaa jatkumoa tähän tarinaan. Ensimmäiset singlet julkaistiin vuonna 2024. Debyyttialbumi "Taistele Tai Pakene" ilmestyi maaliskuussa 2025 (CD & suoratoisto). Levyn englanninkielinen versio julkaistiin syyskuussa 2025 ja instrumentaaliversio sai vuoronsa tammikuussa 2026.
